Instinct recall notice for UK customers

Due to a long term corrosion problem under certain conditions the black aluminium rivets used to secure the chin straps are failing. The manufacturer is requesting that helmets purchased in 2017 and 2018 are returned for replacement fixings.

To return helmets please send an email to stating the helmet serial number, your name and full return address. You will receive a return email with a prepaid parcel force postage pdf label that can be printed off, attached to a box and dropped off at any post office. Please ensure that a clear return address note is in the box. If you do not have a box then please state this on your email and we will send you a box with a pre-paid postage.

How do I know if I need to return

The easiest way to know if your helmet should be returned is by the colour of rivets securing the chin straps . If the rivets are black the helmet must be returned, if the rivets are silver the helmet does not need to be returned.

Replacing the rivets takes no more than 10minutes, all helmets will be promptly returned to the enclosed address.
